For a week in November 2018, 19 of Helen Wilson Roe's paintings were projected onto the Big Screen in Millennium Square, Bristol, alongside work by national and international artists, in a programme curated by the Lord Mayor of Bristol, Cleo Lake. Cycling through the square each evening put portraits normally seen in a gallery in front of an entirely different audience — commuters, shoppers, and anyone simply passing through the city centre after dark.
